My Pre-Schooler

Baylee started her first official day of pre-school last week! She did great! She is in a two year old class with only 6 other kids and 2 teachers and goes twice a week for 2 hours a day. It is a really nice program for her. I got really lucky finding it!

I can't believe how fast she is growing up too. I measured her and she is 34 1/2 inches tall and weighs 26 lbs. My mom told me that whatever her height is at her 2nd birthday she will double it by the time she is fully grown. Now if I do the math right she will be 5 feet 9 inches!!! And I am only 5'2''...ahhh!!! Basketball here we come!

She is officially done with the binky--yeah!!! That was one of the worst weeks in our house, but we all survived! Except that she only naps every other day now. Don't worry I still make her stay in her room and have quiet time for at least 2 hours a day...for my sanity!

She is potty trained too! But she loves to go in public restrooms--yuck! Whenever we go into a store or to church or anywhere she sees a bathroom she has to try it out...coming from a person who only goes in a public restroom in a dyer emergency, it is pretty hard, but what can you do!

She now repeats everything anyone tells her. It is cute. Louis is now "Honey", not "Daddy" because that is what I call him.

She is also a very good helper. She has to help me with everything, from cooking, cleaning, laundry, and etc...it is great but takes twice as long of course!

Her favorite movie is "FINDING NEMO" and she has to watch at least some of it everyday!

She is so much fun to have and we just love her to death!

Party Like a Monkey!

Baylee had her 2nd birthday party on Saturday and she had such a great time! We did a monkey theme and even had a moneky pinata! My mom flew from California to be here and she made a wonderful cake and all the other delicious food! Thank you mom for everything!

The Cake!

Mom with her little monkeyDad and his little monkey!

She blew the candle out way before the song was finished...it was cute!

She got great gifts from everyone! Thank you so much!
All the kids loved the pinata...especially Louis :)
She just loves her favorite Uncle Roger!

Here is my mom and Aunt from Switzerland who also helped with everything for the party! Thank you!

Happy Birthday Week Baylee Rose

Today was Baylee's 2nd birthday and she absolutely loved her day. She woke up to a room filled with balloons (I snuck in after she went to bed and put a bunch of balloons in her room--thanks for the great idea McKenna!) Then as she was eating breakfast I put on Blue's Clues and the episode happened to be on birthday parties so she was so excited! All morning she kept saying "My birthday, I two" and would hold up one finger. She hasn't grasped the whole two finger thing yet.

We went to church and she got a gift from her teacher and when she got home she got to eat half of a Swiss chocolate bar right before her nap-don't ask, but I did eat the other half myself!

After her nap we had dinner with family and then she blew out her candles (yeah, still only have tea lights!) on her key lime pie birthday cake over and over! She loved to blow the candles out!

Then she opened one present from Louis and I. We got her twin babies that came with a double stroller which made her so so happy! She is having a little birthday party on Saturday with a few of her friends where she will open more presents from us and our family and friends.

We can't believe our little girl is two already! She is truly a gift from above and blesses our lives with so much love and happiness! We love you Baylee Rose! Happy Birthday Week!
