Mittens

It has actually been chilly in South Florida lately. Its gotten into the 40's at night and Baylee loves wearing her new mittens and the other night she wanted so bad to wear them to sleep! So I let her thinking that she would take them right off...
...well 5 hours later when I checked on her before going to bed myself I found her mittens still on! No blankets, no binky, just mittens! She is a funny one.

My 30th Birthday Trip

Louis took me to Georgia and Tennessee for a fun getaway weekend for my birthday! It was the best trip! We spent a day in a little Swiss-German village in the Georgia Mountains called Helen. We did a caridge ride through the village, ate great German food, and did a beautiful hike up to Ruby Falls!
We stayed in a cute little log cabin in Helen that was so nice and relaxing, especially the hot tub!
We drove the scenic drive through the Appalachian Mountains passing through North Carolina and up to Tennessee where we visited one of my best friends from Dental School Tiffinie and her cute family. They have a beautiful home right in the mountains on a lake!
Baylee just loved playing with their baby Bryce!
We also went to the Wyoming vs. Tennessee game and sat in the front row and cheered Wyoming to their victory!
On our last day we drove back to Georgia to spend the day with my best friend from High School Jenna and her family! Here is Baylee with Aunt Jenna in her pretty garden!
Thank you Louis for this wonderful trip! You are the best husband ever! And thank you everyone for a great time together and for all that you did for us!!! We miss you already!!!

Halloween 2008

Pumpkin Carving with Dad!

Our Lady Bug

Kayley And Baylee
Baylee and Reilly
Baylee absolutley loved going Trick-or-Treating and wearing her costume! After a couple of doors of Louis and I showing her what to do and say, she was on her own! She followed all the big kids from door to door holding up her bag. She loved it!

By the end of the night her bag was so heavy but she would not let go of it! Here she is with a sucker in one hand and her heavy bag in the other running to the next door! Here is one of the treats I found in Baylee's bag at the end of the night! A crunch bar stapled to McCain campaign ad!!!!
At the end of the night Baylee did not want to stop trick-or-treating and eating candy or take off her costume. She cried so much! It was really sad.

But the next day we went to a fall festival where Baylee got her face painted for the first time and where she got to play games and eat a lot of candy! So she was happy again!
