Our flight got bumped on the way there so we got to fly FIRST CLASS all the way from Houston to Hawaii--yeah baby!!!

Mother's Day 2008

I had such a wonderful Mother's Day! Louis and Baylee spoiled me with a new swim suit and snorkel gear for our upcoming trip to Hawaii, roses and of course lots of chocolate!!! They are the best!!
Uncle Roger came over for my favorite swiss dinner too!!

We went up to Orlando this past weekend to visit Baylee's Cousins who flew in from Utah to go to Disney World. It was so nice to see family! We had so much fun with them and at Animal Kingdom!

Life In Homestead

We share our yard with our next door neighbors who are really nice people. They have kids, so it's great for Baylee because she has a swing and slide and trampoleen, along with new friends to play with all the time!

We tried to take a dip in our neighborhood pool the other day but it was still kinda chilly for Baylee and us! She loved the water, but came out shivering and with blue lips!
Here are some pix of the closest beach to our home. It's about a 5 minute drive down the road and really nice! We have had a little cold spell this past week (ok, not as cold as Wyoming) but cold enough where we couldn't get in the water.
There are even crocodiles in our local beach park! This part of Florida is the only place in the United States, and one of the few places in the world where both crocodiles and alligators live in the same area . Kinda neat!
My other best friend from Dental School had her baby this week also! Welcome Baby Bryce! So now all 3 of us are mommies!

Baylee loves to crawl into everything and hide lately. The other day I found her in the dryer with her blanket and care bear!
Here is our neighborhood playground that Baylee and I walk to every morning to play. She just loves it!

The other day Baylee went to her first Miami Heat game. She only sat through about half the game, but it was a lot of fun!


We also went to South Beach over the weekend and had a great time!
