May Happenings 2012

May was a super busy month with a lot to celebrate besides Macy's birthday! 

First I enjoyed a beautiful Mother's Day Breakfast and Shabbot at Baylee's Pre-school.  She made me so many nice things that I will cherish forever!

Next, Baylee had a Pre-K Prom where Louis and I were her dates!  It was super cute!

Baylee ended a great soccer season in May too!  She really loves to play and is very good! I couldn't be a prouder soccer mom :)

But the high light of the month was on May 31st, when Baylee graduated from Pre-K! 

I'm so proud of my big grad!  I can't believe she will start Kindergarten in the Fall!

May was also a month of a lot of rain in South Florida!  Here are some pix of our flooded backyard!  But it didn't stop our girls from having fun!

And some how I squeezed in some gardening during this crazy month!  So here is my first attempt at a box garden.  A good friend of mine helped me get it going (thanks Rachael)!  I just hope it survives the Florida summer :-0

Macy's First Birthday!

My Miracle Baby turned One on May 10, 2012! 

It was a pretty hard year for our Macy, but with lots of answered prayers and great doctors her health has come pretty close to normal now!  She is striving like any other one year old, God bless her! 

Here are some fun facts about our little angel:

-She says mommy, daddy, hi, bye

-She is walking (since 11 months old!)

-She loves to be outside

-She has the straightest blond hair and fair skin

-She still has bright blue eyes and only 2 teeth

-She is very energetic and loves to be loud
-She can wave, clap and hold her index finger up to show she is 1 :)

-She loves Minnie Mouse

-She weighs 22 lbs and is 30.5 inches tall
-She loves bubbles (her favorite birthday present was a bubble machine!)

As a tradition, I have made all my girls' first birthday cakes!  Macy's turned out super cute! 

 We had a pool party for her in the back yard and invited all of our close church friends to celebrate!

I am so very grateful for this beautiful angel in my life.  I am so lucky that she was sent to be my daughter!  She has taught me so much about life already, especially to be the strongest mom that I can be.  I love you very much my MACY ANNA, Happy 1st Birthday!

Spring Break 2012

We had a busy month in April with Baylee on Spring Break and the Easter Holiday!  The girls all got cute matching dresses from the Eater bunny and had a fun Easter egg hunt the back yard after church! 

We took the girls to the zoo and they had a blast!



I also took the girls to Disney World all by myself with a couple other brave moms with their kids!  It ended up being a great trip despite being out numbered and no dads to rescue us!

After 12 hours at Disney World, the girls passed out hard (even me!)

Lou and I had a couple of fun date nights in April too.  We went to watch the MIAMI HEAT play and went electric indoor go kart racing, both VERY fun!!!

KARMA

12.15.1999-03.20.2012

It was 13 years ago when I got my first dog, and the best dog anyone could have asked for.  Karma passed on March 20th of this year and I am still very emotional when I think of her.  I am so blessed to have had her for so many wonderful years and to have shared so many great memories together!  I am so grateful my girls got to know her and appreciate her too. She will be forever missed by me.  

I love you my Karma Girl.  

 Our neighborhood walks will never be the same without her.
