Time Out

Last week I started to put Baylee in time out for the first time. She has to sit on the stairs with her hands on her lap and not get up for one minute. After her minute she says she's sorry by giving me a hug and a kiss. Well after the first couple of times of going to time out, she now thinks its a fun game! Louis told her the other day to not throw the remote or else she would go to time out. So she puts the remote down and runs to the stairs and sits down quietly for about 20 seconds and gets up and gives him a kiss (and the whole time she is smiling)! So now whenever we say the words "time out" she runs to the stairs even if she hasn't done anything wrong yet. She thinks it is so much fun! We can't help but laugh with her, but I don't think this will last long :)

Labor Day

This was the first labor day that I didn't have to work in a few years--yeah! So we decided to drive up to Fort Lauderdale and hang out with our old friends that we miss so much! It was great seeing everyone!

KENNY CHESNEY

Louis and I went to the Kenny Chesney concert the other night with his brother Porter and our friends Chad and Debbie. We had such a great time!!! Here are a few pix and a little clip of the concert! (you'll have to pause my music on my blog to hear the video)

August Days...

With all the rain and crazy weather we have been having lately poor Baylee can't go to the pool everyday. So she has her daily swimming in the tub! It's just the same to her!

We have been doing a lot of home improvement since we've moved into our new home and poor Baylee gets dragged into our projects. We are at our local Home Depot at least a few times a week and everyone knows us. But the orange car carts are one of her favorite things!
We love our year zoo pass! We go sometimes just for a couple of hours to play on their big play ground and splash park that Baylee can't get enough of! They also have a cute petting zoo that is a lot of fun for her.

August Celebrations!

August 1st Baylee turned 18 months old!
She is 24 pounds and 32 1/2 inches tall
She is sleeping in a toddler bed
Her Favorite word is "Noooo"
She loves baby dolls
She loves to be read to
Her favorite place is anywhere outside
She will jump off anything and climb anything
She LOVES swimming... in the pool, ocean, bathtub, puddles, anywhere there is water!
She will eat anything
She has 14 teeth
She loves singing, dancing and riding her horse...


We got her a tricycle that she loves to learn how to ride.

We also celebrated Swiss Independence Day on August 1st. Roger came over and we ate traditional Swiss food like Fondue and Rachlet cheeses (even in hot Florida!) and Brats. Baylee enjoyed the food too!

On August 3rd Louis and I had our 3 year Wedding Anniversary! My wonderful husband surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of roses! Thank you for a wonderful three years honey! I love you forever...
